

Kim Niskey brings entrepreneurial drive and networking savy to ConnectsU, LLC, a woman-owned Greenville County-based business development training and consulting firm , serving as the company’s President. ConnectsU specializes in teaching individually or in groups how to "work the room", which rooms to "work" and "what to say"... all leading to increased revenue.
Known as a “connector” in the community, she enjoys building relationships and gains the majority of her business from referrals through viral marketing.
Recently, Kim was awarded the Greer Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award for 2008. She has more than 25 years of experience in outside sales
including her past experience as a Membership Sales Representative for the Greater Greenville Chamber for over 6 years where she brought in $1 Million in revenue while on staff. There she gained over 70% of new members through referrals from her satisfied clients, most of whom she met by networking. Kim was named WGVC’s Businesswoman of the Month for May 2007. She founded the current Greater Greenville and Greater Greer Chamber referrals groups and has won multiple networker awards.
Kim's present leadership positions in the community include and have included co-founder and current Chair of the SSD Strategic Sales Development program for the Spartanburg Area Chamber, founder and past Chair of the Greer Chamber SSS Sales Strategies for Success program and past Board member of the Greenville YWCA,. Kim has worked privately with several individuals and has taught the Networking “Tool Kit” and other sales workshops for groups and corporations and continues to consult with individuals and teach groups and organizations. She is also a frequent guest speaker for community organizations. She says her keys to success are finding out and meeting the needs of her clients, staying informed about the community and networking at every opportunity.
Kim holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Vermont, education which she says has greatly helped in her thinking of “outside the box” ideas for her clients. She also holds a current SC Real Estate Broker License and has practiced residential real estate in the past as an active agent for several years.
