Kim Niskey brings entrepreneurial drive and networking savvy to ConnectsU, LLC,
a woman-owned Greenville-based business development training and consulting
firm, serving as the company’s President. Known as a “connector” in the community, she enjoys building relationships and gains the majority of her business from referrals. She has more than 25 years of experience in outside sales and has held several leadership positions in the community. Kim was named
WGVC’s Businesswoman of the Month for May 2007. She founded the current Greater Greenville and Greater Greer Chamber referrals groups and has won multiple networker awards. Kim serves on the YWCA of Greenville Board of Directors where she also serves on the YWCA Yw Empowerment Center Conference Steering Committee. She chairs the Sales Strategies for Success program for the Greer Chamber and serves on the Greer Chamber G.R.O.W. Women's Group Steering Committee. Kim has taught the Networking “Tool Kit” program and other workshops to both corporations/organizations and individuals. She is also a frequent guest speaker for community organizations.
Kim’s past experience includes her position as a Membership Sales Representative for the Greater Greenville Chamber for over 6 years where she gained over 70% of new members through referrals from her satisfied clients, most of whom she met by networking. She generated $1 Million in revenue for the Chamber while on staff and says her keys to success are finding out and meeting the needs of her clients, staying informed about the community and networking at every opportunity.
Kim holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Vermont, education which she says has greatly helped in her thinking of “outside the box” ideas for her clients.
